Self-Care Summer! It’s Cancer Season.

And now, we rest. After June’s two powerful Eclipses, Mercury Retrograde and more, July grounds us all the way down with less Astrological transits and more stabilizing emotional security.

With the Sun in Cancer until July 22nd, we’re all asked to find home within, as a function of self-acceptance. Wouldn’t we know meaningful belonging if we stopped pretending, performing, people-pleasing, comparing, and hustling for our worth? Wouldn’t we know home because we’re so fully self-accepted?

Here I want to normalize and validate the re-entry anxiety, fear, and perhaps even atrophy we’re experiencing based on over a year of social distancing, suspicion, mistrust and more. The Full Moon in Aquarius wants us to holistically complete that chapter with the lessons we’ve acquired from it, and move toward studying and applying our relational skills and relational intelligence. 

Mercury enters Leo on July 27th and adds even more texture to the Leo ruled themes of self-disclosure, worthiness, and vulnerability. We’ll be sharing our inner world, hopes, fears, and desires to the people who genuinely need to hear them so we can move into co-agreements with them. 

Next Mars enters Virgo on July 29th until September 15th, ushering in back-to-school vibes early. We’ll want to balance the recess of Summer and the time/space we deserve for joy, adventure, and rest with Mars in Virgo self-care, routine, and wellness habits.
